Excellent and good value for money on weekday menus

A Bar / Restaurant, it's a nice, pleasant place, with a largely covered terrace, overlooking the street. The service is fast and the waitresses are attentive to our needs. The pizzas and salads are very good... I don't eat much meat, I'm more of a fish/shellfish person so I can't currently give you my opinion on these dishes. Varied menus, also suitable for vegetarians. The only criticism is that the toilets are difficult for a person with reduced mobility. I recommend this place!

Several times we come. But this time very disappointed with the service. We had the drinks once the meal was finished and in addition with morel beef fillet Fortunately the waitress came to catch up at the end of the meal.

Beautiful food and very friendly staff. We were recommended the restaurant from someone who works at the hotel we are staying at, and well I can see why they recommended it. The food was cooked to perfection and a lovely relaxed atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. We shared our meals as we both couldn't decide on one thing. So we had a creamy risotto topped with a panco like crumb with herbs throughout. This was cooked perfectly. the fish was light and fell apart when you touched it with your fork and a lovely fluffy risotto, sprinkled with parmesan. Then we had the mussels with blue cheese served with chips. The portion of mussels was huge, together we were beaten by the size of it. The mussels were amazingly cooked we didn't even find a closed one. For a place so far from the sea we weren't expecting much but we were really impressed. Also great skills from the owner who was able to speak a huge list of languages, french (of course), English, Italian and German (and probably even more.

Déjeuner du 13/08/24, L'accueil est correct, les serveurs pros. L'attente est bien maîtrisée. Dans l'ensemble, les plats étaient plutôt bon avec bonne viande, frites maisons, glaces de qualité mais j'ai trouvé que ça restait assez cher... bon Luxeuil est ville thermale mais ce n'est pas non plus Vittel ou Evian. Pas d'entrée à moins de 15 euros, salades à 13-14 euros en entrée qui restent chiche dans l'assiette. Desserts à 9-10 euros, 12 euros la première pizza... ce n'est pas non plus un resto gastro ou bistronomique. Bah moi je trouve cela cher. En conclusion : bon resto qui reste cher pour moi.

We had a wonderful lunch at La Pomme d’Or in Luxeuil-les-Bains. I savored the “œuf poché aux girolles et asperges,” followed by the “salade chèvre chaud estivale”while my husband enjoyed his pizza Primavera. The staff was friendly and professional, making our experience absolutely enjoyable. Despite the terrace being close to the road, it was a wonderfully relaxing spot to enjoy our meal. A significant plus for us was that our dog was warmly welcomed. The restaurant is a local treasure with a charming history dating back to the early 19th century. Its welcoming facade and intimate atmosphere draw you in, and the cuisine lives up to the inviting ambiance. The menu offers a sophisticated blend of traditional and contemporary dishes, all made from fresh, seasonal ingredients.
