The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

La Popote is a restaurant everyone in Metz knows, and rightly so. Having tried it twice already, there's no doubt about it: it's the best restaurant in Metz if you enjoy old-fashioned bistro fare.
The service is quick, yet the servers still have time to chat, joke, and ask questions.
The food is high-quality, well-balanced, and reasonably priced. The dishes are classic but often given a modern twist, always maintaining a perfect balance.
Of course, the atmosphere is that of a small, intimate restaurant where you shouldn't be afraid of conversation, but this only reinforces the "old-fashioned bistro" feel.

I highly recommend this restaurant. It's exactly the kind of restaurant we love: great service with a touch of humor. The decor is cozy and intimate. The food is delicious and fresh! Absolutely nothing to complain about, not a single flaw! I'll be back!

There were about ten of us, everyone very satisfied. Don't be afraid to listen to the advice of the hostess... she's a pro who knows her stuff... who knows how to listen... and therefore advise you well... real cuisine cooked to perfection... don't be afraid to overdo it... we raided the cellar... which explains the price...

Unlike Vincent, we booked our table online and were very well received. The "bon courage" shouted by the people seated before us should have tipped us off... The restaurant's atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was served quickly and was very good. We even received small digestifs at the end. We'll do it again!
