My favorite restaurant, without hesitation! Everything is incredible: the service is impeccable, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and each dish is a real delight. A perfect experience on every visit, I recommend with my eyes closed!

A very good little restaurant with typical old-fashioned French dishes in a small house in the historic district.
The tripe is excellent, the fish very well cooked and the mash homemade. The desserts are also very good. The service was very pleasant with staff who made conversation with you.
I recommend 👌🏻

Located in the historic center of Caen, the atmosphere is very inspired by Norman architecture. Friendly welcome
I came to taste Caen-style tripe, I enjoyed it: quite sufficient quantity, fries made with new potatoes, a glass of wine, gourmet coffee (approx. €30)

Très bonne surprise en face du château de Caen.
Accueil parfait, menu alléchant, plat du jour (jambon grillé) très bon, frites vraiment maison et excellentes !
L’intérieur est joliment décoré, on s’y sent bien.
Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !
Le tout pour une note pas exorbitante, que demander de mieux ?

Disappointing burger: good meat and served rare as requested 👍 but overall quite ordinary. The baker's buns are a little dry and the ladle of melted cheddar was a little floury 😢I think it would be better to melt a slice on top of the steak...
The fries are okay but are a little soft.
Otherwise,. contrary to what I have read, the service is efficient, friendly and fast.
I don't think I will return to this restaurant

Ruelles très touristiques de la vieille ville de Caen (Quartier Vaugueux) , jolie placette accueillante. Restaurant bien situé et très accueillant. Terrasse très agréable. Plats régionaux (excellentes tripes en cocotte - Foie de veau/purée - Pêche rôtie). Nous avons très bien mangé. A conseiller.
