A very warm welcome. A relaxing place facing the mountains, truly rejuvenating. Fresh, homemade cuisine that was absolutely delicious. Generous portions... In short, everything is there for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it!

Always an excellent address in a charming mountain setting, like an old chalet at the end of the world. A warm welcome and the original menu from the previous owners, along with a few new additions. Of course, we always appreciate the flambéed meat and the farçon (a type of savory tart), but also a selection of quality desserts (the chocolate merveilleux, for example, is excellent). Back again in this lovely place. Always a warm welcome and delicious summer specials on the terrace. The farçon is always a success.

An exceptional place: a must-try without hesitation. We found it by chance while climbing the Gabilier pass and were thrilled. The view is absolutely magnificent: green meadows, wonderful mountains, and an incredible silence to keep us company during our meal and break. The restaurant is extremely well-kept, with lounge chairs and umbrellas so you can relax even after your meal. The young man who served us was super friendly, kind, and helpful: always smiling and extremely polite. The cuisine was wonderful: the young woman in the kitchen was truly skilled, even in the presentation of the dishes, truly a pleasure. The cabbage ravioli are a delicacy that should become a World Heritage Site. The fondue was truly delicious, and the idea of ​​cooking the egg in cheese was a real discovery, giving an unsurpassed flavour to the cheeses. The salads were also very good, with a delicate but decidedly delicious dressing. The desserts were unsurpassed, especially the strawberry cake. The chocolate mousse was also very good. I don't know what to say... absolutely worth trying to enjoy this corner of paradise.

We stopped for lunch before riding up the Col du Galibier. We ate very well and sampled some typical dishes, served by friendly and fast staff. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at La Poutre, whether for dinner or afternoon tea. The dishes are refined, generous, and very tasty. The staff is welcoming and warm; you feel right at home. Local produce and homemade goodness are guaranteed! A must-visit in Valloire with breathtaking mountain views.

Absolutely fantastic!!! We stopped for lunch during a motorcycle ride 🏍 with friends, and the setting was magnificent, with breathtaking mountain views!! Friendly staff and excellent food! We thoroughly enjoyed it!! I highly recommend it!!!

Excellent restaurant, the potence dish is a real treat, and also a surprising and delicious dessert: lemon éclair with whipped cream and basil, absolutely divine!!!! 😋
