A very good Provençal restaurant located on a lovely, quiet square in Avignon, away from the tourist crowds yet still in the city center. The food is excellent and the service is truly top-notch! You feel very welcome thanks to the warm welcome and kindness of the owners. I recommend it 100% :)

Authentic provencal family run restaurant in a beautiful quiet area of Avignon outside the main tourist area. Ample shaded pretty outdoor tables. Great provencal food and very reasonable prices. Owners very friendly and attentive. Recommend highly for an authentic french eating experience.

We followed a small sign that read "Provençal Restaurant": the restaurant was really lovely, with efficient service, a very good meal, and typical Provençal dishes. It was a very pleasant surprise in a beautiful setting; I highly recommend it.

A little restaurant I stumbled upon while wandering the streets, with a terrace overlooking a quiet, tree-shaded square.

A short break in Avignon, and while strolling around, we stopped at La Provende for lunch as a family with our dog! It was lovely! The owner was very friendly, and the service was excellent! Humor, homemade food, and the sun and shade of the trees... what more could you ask for!
Don't hesitate, and don't miss out on eating there!

We didn't have much time for lunch, so we asked the waiter how long it would take. We had plenty of time, although we needed to eat quickly, so we stayed. It turned out they were much faster than expected, so we ate at our leisure.
The food was delicious, and they even lovingly prepared a dessert for us to take away.
