Passing through Amboise today, we stopped at this little restaurant. We had a very good meal for a very reasonable price. It was a buffet of starters, main courses, and desserts. The starter buffet was simple but very good (excellent homemade potato salad), no endless menu, just two choices of main courses which guaranteed homemade food, and the same for dessert. In short, exactly what you look for in a restaurant: simple but good! Not to mention the kindness of the lady who greeted and served us, who clearly cared about her guests' well-being! We will gladly return on our next visit.
