Excellent little family restaurant, warm atmosphere and quality cuisine. Every time I go there I enjoy it. I especially recommend the scallops with morels 😄

Very friendly and attentive welcome. Add to this a well-crafted kitchen and a setting open all year round. We had a pleasant evening passing through. We recommend this address with our eyes closed.

Fabulous food in an amazing setting, with excellent service. We had planned to have lunch in Chamonix but with so many unpredictable restaurants everywhere, our favourites were either closed, expensive or offering an unusual menu. This restaurant serves an Alpine menu at fair prices. Really, really good experience - for the 2nd time.

Nous y sommes allés une première fois un peu par hasard, et depuis cette première expérience, plusieurs fois, dont un déjeuner ce midi vendredi 19 juillet, en famille. Comme à chaque fois, c’est un sans faute, en commençant par l’accueil, juste ce qu’il faut sans excès, le personnel est très agréable, professionnel, compétent, les plats sont excellents, magnifiques, le Chef utilise des produits frais, que lui et son équipe cuisinent parfaitement, copieusement, simplement, tout cela a du bon, avec un excellent rapport qualité prix, merci aux patrons et à leur équipe pour cette grande conscience professionnelle… en voie de disparition malheureusement À très bientôt

Fondue was great! Just like the steak with 2 pepper sauce. I am a very difficult person for pepper sauce. This one is in my top 3! Service was great! Really one to return to.

31/08/2024: Perfect for the taste buds. Lunch in the garden with “brasero” option on Thursday lunchtime, it was perfect. We always have an excellent time at Maison Carrier and the service is impeccable.

17/01/2026: We had a very good meal, it's just a shame the service didn't live up to the quality of the food. The service was completely impersonal, probably because we're not regulars!
16/01/2026: I was naive enough to ask for sushi as the entree, which was cheap all you can eat buffet level. The tartare was quite tasty, though! Then the alleged Argentinian steak came, and it was not only raw (when medium rare was requested), as the meat was not of the best quality, with many nerves and tendons, some parts were inedible. Maybe it was just bad luck with that piece of meat, or a bad day at the grill, because the sauce was actually quite tasty and the fries were delicious! The best part was the cheese platter and the dessert, which we opted for the chef suggestion and was delicious! If the meat was good, it would have deserved a 4… to get a 5 I strongly suggest to remove the sushi from the list… clearly not their yard!
