Très bon repas dans cette maison traditionnelle Vendéenne où les produits locaux sont parfaitement mis en valeurs par le chef dans une ambiance très chaleureuse.

A restaurant that smells of real cuisine made every day with local supplies. Very friendly and caring service. Quality dishes served with a touch of modernity. The taste is there!!!! (when it's eel or frog legs in parsley... Well it's parsley with garlic, yes fresh and parsley and not just a little!) Let's not talk about desserts! Everything is good! The little gift (angling) for the children at the end of the meal, a very good idea. We go there every year and each time we are not disappointed and I even think it gets better and better. Certainly the prices are not cheap but I prefer (personally) to only have one very good restaurant than 2 or 3 mediocre ones.

Très belle soirée passée dans ce bel endroit de Saint-Jean. La déco est top et inspirée de la culture locale. La cuisine est simple = un produit mis en valeur, et cuisiné très justement en fumage ou sur le kamado ou rôti ! Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la côte de bœuf parfaitement cuite. Bravo !

16/09/2024: We went to eat as a family in this restaurant, the welcome and service were top notch, and the meal was a pure marvel, I recommend the Bérichonne mussels (goat cheese, walnuts and honey). In addition, really very accommodating, having had a sleeve operation I can no longer eat large quantities and I was able to benefit from a reduced portion and also from the reduced price that goes with it despite the fact that we did not have children with it. 16/12/2024: Very good restaurant. Very good cuisine. Fresh and seasonal product. I highly recommend.
05/12/2024: There is no trip to Saint Jean de Monts without a stop at swordfish. Always good homemade dishes, it's always a treat. Note the accuracy of cooking of the fish and an excellent semi-cooked homemade chocolate custard.
