A beautiful setting, but disappointing service. The place is superb and the decor is truly lovely, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing for a simple family meal. We waited over 20 minutes before our order was taken, and customers who arrived after us were served before us. We were certainly unlucky that day.

26/05/2026: It's hard to find anything negative to say about the Hotel Florus. A survivor of the family-run hotel industry and the service that goes with it. Friendly, dedicated staff—a real pleasure. Unfortunately, the rooms aren't very soundproof. But I would still go back.
20/05/2026: The hotel has an old-fashioned feel, but it's been renovated. The room was spacious and pleasant. However, the bathroom was quite small. The bedding was impeccable. The staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast was good, but only offered sweets, which might be a bit limited depending on your taste. The real drawback is the soundproofing: you can easily hear what's happening in the hallway and in neighboring rooms. The bathroom ventilation vent opens directly onto the street, which also lets in outside noise.
