A superb mountain restaurant that uses fresh, local produce and truly showcases homemade cuisine. Accessible only by ski, but well worth the trip. We'll be back. Thank you. Reservations recommended.

Hidden beneath the Arcelle glacier, in a beautiful location with quality cuisine and a friendly atmosphere. Laurent and his team are wonderful people. By behaving pleasantly, you will appreciate La Ranova even more.

We enjoyed our stop at this restaurant. The owner is very kind and strives to please us. The blueberry tart is excellent, as are the dishes, all in a magnificent setting with breathtaking views.

18/03/2026: Absolutely amazing! We had the porcini mushroom fondue. I've never seen anything like it, with such beautiful pieces of porcini... Delicious! And the plain fondue was just as good. There were five of us, and everyone agreed. The Apremont wine was also very good and a sure bet. The owner is super friendly. The two waitresses are always attentive. Don't forget to book... it's a very popular spot! 😁👍 Kudos to the whole team and the chefs!
14/03/2026: If you're passing through Val Cenis, this is the place to go. • The food: It's flawless! The dishes are delicious and very generous, exactly what you want after a great day in the mountains. • The wine list: We enjoyed some lovely wines that perfectly complemented the meal. • The atmosphere: The staff is simply fantastic, welcoming, and efficient. Special mention for Benjamin: His humor and good cheer add a real bonus to the experience. In short, a great place where you eat well and laugh a lot. We'll definitely be back!

27/02/2026: By booking in advance, I was able to try the fondue and raclette, and both were excellent! The cheese wasn't heavy, and the charcuterie was flavorful. The desserts were varied, with many ice cream flavors and a homemade crème brûlée that was definitely worth trying. The staff always made sure you had everything you needed. It's a truly wonderful family-run establishment!
27/02/2026: It was lovely to eat in the sunshine and peace and quiet. We all enjoyed our meals!
