Fantastic!! We were a party of 4, and everyone enjoyed all courses, the wine, atmosphere, and service. Beautiful, quaint spot with a cozy atmosphere. Our server was so very nice, and even though he was working alone that night, he never seemed rushed or impatient with anyone. The bonus was they have a dedicated gluten free/lactose free menu for anyone needing that. The choices were many, which is not often the case. We ate at other Michelin rated restaurants during our time in France, and this one ranks the highest for me.

We first visited this restaurant for a birthday celebration. I agree with the many positive reviews: La Rapière is undoubtedly a sure bet.
The service is prompt, everything is beautifully presented and delicious. We will most certainly return as we were won over by this place. An address to remember! (Be sure to book in advance as they are often full.)

Great restaurant hidden in Bayeux's old town. Definitely worth making a reservation and coming to eat here! Lovely owner with her son in charge and her husband in the kitchen. Good gluten-free menu! Had a delicious meal.

Romain was an incredible guide for us during dinner. Each course was well done and tasted excellent. Oysters were some of the best I've had, and the mushroom gravy for the filet was incredible.
Service was top notch and I can't wait to be back.

My husband and I both agreed that La Rapiere was the best meal of our two week stay in Paris and Normandie, and that's saying a lot, as the food in France is fantastic. Everything was fresh, delicious and perfectly prepared. The service was absolutely top notch, and the setting was lovely. A+
