I fell in love with the beautiful village of Lourmarin, nestled at the foot of the Luberon mountains.
We went there one Sunday in February with a friend who knows the region well.
I had spotted this restaurant online: the fact that they offered Provençal cuisine made with fresh, local ingredients made me want to book a table.
My friend and I chose the "Professeur" menu.
The dishes were delicious, generously portioned, and beautifully presented.
I thoroughly enjoyed the red mullet, the duck breast, and the chocolate fondant. This culinary delight deserves top marks.
The owners are friendly and welcoming.
I hope to return to this restaurant in the warmer months to enjoy the lovely shaded terrace.

Excellent establishment.
The traditionally decorated dining room is warm and inviting, and the tables are spaced far enough apart to allow for undisturbed dining without being constantly bothered by passersby.
The cuisine is of a very high standard, and the service is efficient.
Last but not least, the prices are quite reasonable.
We had a wonderful time.

Enjoy a delicious lunch in Lourmarin on the outdoor terrace, bathed in the midday sun. Both a fixed-price and à la carte menus are available. Given the generous breakfast, we opted for one dish each and were satisfied. Service is fast and friendly. The menu is handwritten only in French—Google Translate helps just enough.

We arrived at this cozy little spot with 13 people. It felt just like home, by the fireside. The atmosphere was refined, warm, and welcoming. The children all finished their plates; the dishes were delicious (the daily special was filet mignon with sage sauce, and the à la carte dish was seven-hour lamb). Thank you for the warm welcome and efficient service. We had a wonderful time.
