Excellent cuisine, impeccable service, a wonderful discovery! The fish was delicious, the risotto divine, and to finish, a lovely Charentais coffee and beautiful profiteroles… Absolutely perfect! Thank you for everything!

This is a fantastic place! The food is truly homemade. The bluefin tuna was cooked to perfection, served with a beautifully prepared side dish, and the homemade foie gras in the Périgord salad was top-notch! It's very reasonably priced considering the quality! Go for it!

Hotel de la Plage

21/06/2026: This was our second stay with our little dog. We stayed on the ground floor, in a large parking area opposite the beach, and had immediate access to the beach right across the street. The rooms were obviously very comfortable, and there was a swimming pool. The owner is discreet but attentive and available, and his wife has a passion for cooking that will delight you at mealtimes. A very pleasant establishment for a discreet and relaxing stay. Thank you.
14/06/2026: We were looking for fine dining in St Palais where we are staying. This hotel- restaurant Damio- was seriously superb! Presentation, taste, imagination all exceeded expectations! We had 3 wonderful courses a d amuse bouche plus 2 glasses of wine each for 102 euros ( £88 GBP) Fantastic! Highly recommend.

Restaurant Le Courlay

19/07/2026: Passing through, we stopped for a meal at this small family restaurant. We received a warm welcome and the service was quick. We ordered the all-you-can-eat starters, main course, and desserts, which was excellent from start to finish. Thank you.
05/06/2026: The welcome was excellent, the service was of very high quality, I highly recommend it.
