Delicious!! Delicious Delicious. Ordered the fillet and a burger and believe it or not the best meal I’ve had in Paris. Went for lunch.

Classic French table done right. Expensive for what it is but the whole experience is fantastic. Nothing crazy but everything very well executed and generous portions.

Very nice experience at this restaurant. Difficult to make a reservation, wife was notified of availability online and quickly went in make a reservation. Went in the resturant and the waitress give us friendly greeting. Atmosphere at restaurant is good for dating. Order their foie gras and bone marrow as appetiser. Foie gras is good, bone marrow a little oily but the garlic bread that come with it is nice. For main we ordered the Filet Au Poivres and we asked to be served 20 mins later because the appetiser is so filling we need time to digest. The filet came and it was very good, the best steak that we had during our Europe trip. For dessert, we ordered VACHERIN AUX FRAISES as recommended it was good too. Overall, good experience and food.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Everything tasted great, the steak was perfect. The tartar is toppp. The service is also amazing, we had a pregnant friend with us and he accommodated her asks in a friendly and flexible way. He noticed i wasn’t sure about my order he adjusted based on my hesitancy. People skills 10/10. The place is beautiful and cozy. 1000% recommendaded.

Great food. Great vibes. The restaurant is owned and operated by an American culinary group but it does serve good food so that’s fine with me. The steak and escargots were stand outs. The terminal ask you to tip like you’re in the US (~18%), but remember - tipping is not expected in France.

HOGSALT RESTAURANT IN PARIS 😍 I chose this restaurant because Hogsalt is a restaurant group that owns and operates some of my favorite dinner places in Chicago: Bavette’s, Armitage Alehouse, Gilt Bar, Ciccio Mio, etc. most of which I have been to multiple times. I am a huge fan of their food and curated vibe of their restaurants. When I learned they had a Parisian restaurant, I had to go. There was simply no other option. It was ~10 minutes from our hotel, so it was simply meant to be. La Renommée felt on brand with the rest of the Chicago restaurants. I also chose this restaurant because I wanted an elevated French meal while I was in Paris! I wanted to try some new foods while I had the chance. The staff (s/o Fleur) was so so so kind and withstood my horrible French speaking. She gave us great recommendations too. Overall, we killed this order. We started with the bone marrow, which was insanely flavorful and paired with the garlic toast was mind blowing. I’ve never had bone marrow before and I can confidently say this will not be the last time! For the main meal, we got the filet aux poivres, which was the best steak I’ve ever had. The peppercorn sauce? Please. I almost liked the plate clean. For our sides we got the haricots verts, which were basically drowned in shallots and butter (not complaining) and the fries were the same as the Chicago fries. I love these fries more than anything. For dessert, we got the chocolate mousse, which was served in a chilled dish and was so light and airy. I’m drooling writing this review. I wish I could eat this every day. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant more! Such a cool little place. I had read a lot of Americans go here and that it’s a four Charles brand restaurant. I don’t think we will ever make it to another four Charles restaurant so I went ahead and made a reservation. The vibe was super cool. The service was great the drinks and the food were great! We stayed six nights in Paris, so we ate our fair share of restaurants. The bread and butter was possibly the best that I had in Paris! We had the steak au poive, the burger, mashed potatoes, and chocolate mousse. We each had 3 cocktails each my husband said it was the best old fashioned he had in Paris.

Very good parisian restaurant! Steak tartare, escargots and burger are amazing. Service is very good that you dont even feel in Paris! Ambience is very warm and nice
