A sure value! We were right to trust Google reviews (this is not always the case) Everything is very good, the dishes (prawns and red meat cooked over a fireplace) The cookie as well as the revisited tiramissu - raspberry and hazelnut spread (from Alexia Santini in Soveria - a confectionery 8 minutes by car but better to call ahead to make sure the spread is available): are a real killer. Friendly and efficient service Nb: it is better to book if you want to have lunch on the terrace

Superb restaurant, the best we have had in Corsica this year. Welcome, service… everything was perfect. The managers/waiters are also great. We enjoyed ourselves and regret not having gone there a second time during our 3 nights spent in Corte. Go there without thinking, you will not be disappointed by the cuisine and the setting of this busy but pleasant little alley! Well done and keep it up!

24/09/2024: In 3 times in Corsica I have been there 4 times. Very beautiful place in that spectacular town that is Corte, very varied but high quality cuisine, excellent wild boar and foie gras; Average value for money, I highly recommend it

16/09/2024: Although situated in a very ‘touristy’ spot in the high part of the old city near the citadel, theis restaurant was a very pleasant and not too expensive place for lunch. We shared courgette fritters as a starter between the three of us, followed by a tuna tartare with chips, a tasty veal stew and a roast vegetable upside-down pie, topped with chestnut crumbles, all much appreciated with house wine and sparkles. We ate on a covered terrace with an attractive view onto the lower part of the old city. The only very minor hassle was that the server seemed unable to process my combined debit/credit card, nowadays the norm in Scandinavia, without assistance.
13/09/2024: Very warm welcome, magnificent setting, excellent Corsican meal, I recommend this place. Thanks to the boss and her staff Continental firefighters
