Cozy restaurant, run by a Dutch-speaking family. We ate inside; beautiful interior. We had a good meal and drinks, and the service was friendly.

Busy and noisy restaurant. The food was fine, but pricey. Furthermore, the service wasn't really great; we constantly had to ask for the menu or to order drinks, and something went wrong with our order. Half of the staff were quite friendly, the other half weren't. Hence 3 stars instead of 4.

We ate here tonight. The food was sublime, the service incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere/ambiance was top-notch. In short, highly recommended if you are in Bourg d'Oisans. A solid 10. ❤️

Fantastic experience! Delicious food, excellent service, and a cozy atmosphere. Very child-friendly restaurant. We were with young children and they have multiple kids' menus, as well as fun coloring pages and activity books. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Boulangerie Pâtisserie Salazard Le Bourg d'Oisans

28/01/2026: A great place for a sweet treat or a snack. Clean window display and beautiful loaves of bread on the shelves. Very friendly service. A local shop offering good quality products (not to mention the jam and honey for sale, which certainly seem to be locally sourced). Best of luck to the whole team!

Côté Terrasse

13/07/2026: We were in Le Freney for two days and were looking for a nice, family-friendly restaurant where we could eat something fresh on a summer evening… on a Monday night, no less! "Côté Terrasse" ticked all the boxes! There was something for everyone: the children ate excellent burgers (thank you for agreeing to remove the bacon! The owner offered to add onion confit instead… a really nice touch). For the adults, there were delicious platters available… grilled hallumi, zucchini blossom fritters, focaccia, salad, homemade tzatziki… all presented beautifully on a slate! The manager is absolutely lovely and very welcoming. The place is charming, and we even saw two chamois on the hillside: the icing on the cake! 🍰 Thank you and all the best! Elodie and her family
18/06/2026: A really lovely place with an incredible view! The welcome is warm, the atmosphere is friendly. The manager actually checks in to make sure everything is alright (rare!). I felt pampered :). The menu is simple with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. In short, I highly recommend it!
