The setting is very pleasant, as is the view of the golf course. The dishes are good, often with too much sauce though. Negative point: the noise... It's very noisy, and the noise level is further reinforced by music with a lot of bass, which is extremely unpleasant (what use could that possibly be?)

Technical course in a wooded and hilly setting but which lacks maintenance. Good restaurant and good welcome.

Le bistrot du sommelier

04/09/2024: Très bonne cuisine inventive, on se régale. Seul bémol, le service n'était pas très sympa, la serveuse tendue et pas très aimable. Bien dommage car en cuisine, c'est vraiment du très bon travail.
24/06/2024: This was an amazing lunch experience. We went for the four course fixed price menu lunch, which was good value. The burrata starter was full of flavour. The lamb shanks, rump steak and swordfish curry main courses were all excellent. The small cheese dish was welcome, and the desserts were amazing. So, I strongly recommend Le Bistrot du Sommelier for the food. As English people, we felt warmly welcomed, and the waiters made our lives easy to order and ask questions. Definitely a five star experience.
