La ROTISSERIE sur Aubiere

The setting is very warm and modern. We received a very warm welcome and the service was very attentive. The menu offers a wide variety of choices. The meats were flavorful, well-cooked, and generous. I recommend the 21-day aged ribeye steak. Note that the ribeye steak needed to be cooked longer (it arrived rare, whereas I had ordered it medium-rare), but I was able to ask for it to be cooked longer and it was perfect in the end! The gourmet coffees are particularly generous, homemade, and appetizing. Kudos to all the staff!

We had a very good time. The staff were very pleasant, and the food was excellent (the Angus beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender 😋).

Second visit We had already been to La Rôtisserie and were very satisfied, which made us want to return. This time, the experience was more mixed. We arrived at 11:45 am. The door was open, but we were told it was too early. We were nevertheless shown to a table, which we appreciated as we were with an elderly person who had difficulty standing. That said, the door should probably have remained closed if the service wasn't yet ready. Once seated at our (reserved) table, the ordering process went smoothly. The staff is generally efficient and pleasant, which is appreciated. However, the wait was particularly long: we saw dishes being served to customers who arrived after us. After pointing out the situation, our food finally arrived. Unfortunately, the ribeye steak my wife ordered rare was completely overcooked (well-done, which is a shame for a restaurant specializing in meat). A waitress reacted quickly and professionally by taking the plate away. We were then served a new steak, this time perfectly cooked. The most regrettable aspect was the manager's attitude: he seemed unconcerned about the cooking problem, he didn't come to our table to make sure everything was back to normal, and he didn't even say a word when we left. In the end, the service was too slow (we arrived at 11:45 am and left at 1:45 pm), and the lack of customer attention contrasted sharply with our otherwise very positive first experience. It's a shame, because the quality of the food is excellent, but the service (especially in the dining room) needs improvement. First visit Pleasant setting with efficient staff, quick service, and quality food.

If there are enough of you...and you're motivated...don't hesitate...a Tomahawk...

My wife and I came in cause we were very interest and curious. I ordered the veal sweetbread and my wife the octopus and pumpkin soup to start. The soup had no taste, like eating water and octopus is so hard that you could use it as a rope to tie things you don't want to every come apart. The veal shortbread was ok if you like burnt. The wait staff replace the octopus with the chicken and it seems they pre boil the chicken then put it in the fire for 2 minutes. I can tell you I cook much better than this so extremely disappointed to get this at a restaurant with a 4.2 rating. What saves this restaurant are the amazing wait staff who tries their best to correct the fault of the cook. Crap food place, amazing wait staff - don't come unless you don't have taste buds.

This restaurant is very beautiful, but that's not everything. The servers are welcoming and friendly, but the service is slow, even though the restaurant was far from full, so the problem lies in the kitchen. Another major issue is that the dishes arrive lukewarm at best and completely cold at worst. For me, it's very unpleasant to eat cold meat. The desserts, especially the tiramisu, are excellent.

Perfect from start to finish. The staff were very pleasant and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it.

As always, perfect. Pleasant staff, good and well-prepared food. Cozy atmosphere. If I could offer one small criticism, the aperitif was served with only olives, which was a shame for those who don't like them... I can't wait to go back.
