La ROTISSERIE sur Aubiere

Based on the reviews, we went. The decor and armchairs were very nice. I tried the homemade "vanilla pineapple" infused rum served with four large ice cubes: very disappointing. We ordered andouillette sausage with fresh fries and green beans: the green beans were very good, and the rest was okay, nothing special. My friend chose the rack of lamb cooked "pink" with new potatoes and bacon: the meat arrived "very rare" and there was no bacon, so it had to be sent back to the kitchen. The wait for the food was long. A shame. We were disappointed. The 4.2 rating is too high for our liking.

We were very disappointed with our visit this time. My husband didn't enjoy his foie gras, which lacked freshness (it arrived with fat dripping onto the plate), his disappointing Angus bavette steak, the awful-tasting new potatoes, the poor blue cheese sauce, and the crêpes Suzette for dessert were also disappointing. Quite simply, he left almost everything on his plate. As for me, I was disappointed with the portion of beef tataki, the zucchini flan was so-so because it was too watery, and the chocolate fondant with a scoop of vanilla ice cream won't be in my top ten. The waiters were overwhelmed and disorganized (having both worked in the restaurant industry, we quickly noticed the disorganization and never knew which waiter was responsible for which table). There were two birthdays that evening, so it was very (too) noisy. The restaurant's capacity was exceeded, so the servers were overwhelmed... In short, nothing was right, neither the service nor the quality of the food. It's a shame, we won't be back.

Good restaurant with a varied menu. The blue cheese burger was good, but nothing special. Dessert was fine. Friendly and efficient service. However, it's hot inside. The restrooms are cooler.

I love this place for its spaciousness, decor, food, and the peaceful atmosphere you can feel despite the crowds around. The staff are friendly and attentive. A reliable choice in the area.

What's more, everything was EXCELLENT: service, food, dessert, and we will be back at the end of September after our holidays.

Good, well-presented, and generous portions. A bit long because it was very busy. However, the staff apologized for the wait.

We arrived as 3 adults and 3 children (ages 6 and 12) at 8:30 pm without a reservation. There was a table available, a warm welcome, a good meal, thick and juicy pork chops, and a good dessert. The staff were attentive and responsive. Thank you!
