On an Easter Tuesday, on the Place de Villeneuve, a (very) busy terrace is a sign, our friends appreciated the place, the cuisine, simple and Provençal, the friendly welcome and the efficient service. We will continue to recommend the Salamander after this point. A delicious gourmet coffee. View the photo

Excellent restaurant, home cooking, the Saint Pierre and its sauce accompanied by perfect vegetables, the ravioli/leeks in blue sauce were perfectly cooked. The location on the terrace in the sun, impeccable. Very nice service too. In short, small restaurant with large terrace which is worth the detour after the market/flea market further down. Great discovery

Very nice restaurant, well located in Villeneuve-lez-Avignon, which offers good home-made cuisine. We came there on a weekday, chose the lunch menu (starter and main course of the day but it is possible to have a main course of the day and a dessert too) and everything was very good and plentiful. In addition, the service, setting and decoration are pleasant.

Bravo to the adorable boss of the salamander, who managed a massive influx of customers this November 11 at lunch. Good humor, kindness and class. And the dishes were delicious. Thank you ☺️

Simple and effective, homemade, very reasonable price. Warm service and welcome. Excellent homemade terrine. Little garlic sauce accompanying the flank steak: a delight. Good homemade fries. Very good and hearty children's meal, especially the nuggets (real breaded chicken fillets). Restaurant that doesn't look like much (bad weather so no terrace that day), very little space inside, but you have to go there!!!

01/04/2024: Sublime place, I know the chef well and we have the same Passion for good food. His cuisine is refined and worthy of a renowned Michelin star... he educated me on a lot of products that I would not have thought of cooking. His cuisine is generous and charismatic... in his elegant image... the places are magnificent, the garden, the swimming pool surrounded by the vegetable garden, can't wait to go back..❤️ Thank you to the teams for making our visits a fairy tale.
14/02/2024: We were guests of this wonderful restaurant in September. The weather was still nice and warm so we were given a table outside. We sat in the middle of a garden, which rounded off the ambience perfectly. Every course was a pleasure, the staff were extremely accommodating and we felt completely at home. Thank you for this great experience. An absolute recommendation for anyone visiting Arles.

06/04/2024: An unmissable place in Villeneuve les Avignon, an exceptional setting, attentive staff, a great atmosphere on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, you're bound to have a unique and perfect time there! The cocktails and the cuisine are delicious, whether for tapas or restaurants, go there with your eyes closed 🙌🏼
04/04/2024: Very good starter, but the rest served lukewarm with almost cold accompaniment due to too long a wait. Too bad because it could have been good. Very kind staff. It’s also a shame that for dessert there are only pastries. But still favorable opinion
