This restaurant is top notch. Thoroughly deserving of its no1 spot. The food was amazing, so many wonderful flavours. Don’t let the simplified menu fool you, every option I had came with impeccable presentation, and a little bonus twist or hidden surprise. The wine was from the lower end of the price range but also excellent, smooth and fruity from the Loire. Get in here as soon as you can. Best part for me was I was the only patron for my entire meal, on a Thursday night! Apparently last week had two public holidays so everyone’s spent.

Very good restaurant. Wonderfully well presented plates, exquisite dishes and research in the offering of dishes. I liked this calm atmosphere, perfect for a one-on-one dinner. We will definitely come back.

An exceptional culinary experience at La Salamandre! The warm welcome and attentive service immediately set the tone for an unforgettable lunch. The dishes were not only delicious, but also beautifully presented, demonstrating true attention to detail. The sea bream ceviche as a starter was fresh and tasty, followed by a perfectly cooked monkfish with green asparagus. Even the children enjoyed their adapted dish. The duck breast was tender and flavorful, and the desserts, strawberry pavlova and black forest, were divinely decadent. A big thank you to the entire La Salamandre team for this unforgettable gastronomic experience!
