I highly recommend this restaurant, with its generous portions and high-quality ingredients. The service is pleasant, the atmosphere is quite peaceful (apart from the wasps, which were later shooed away), and the value for money is simply superb.

Unexpectedly fantastic! We ended up here by chance around 7:15 PM. The terrace was still empty (French dining times) and the place itself is very authentic, so we didn't know what to expect. But after choosing from the compact but varied menu, we were truly amazed by the quality and taste of the food. Friendly service and tasty drinks. The only downside: I couldn't add a tip by card. That's why I'm making up for it with this 5-star review!

20/06/2026: Excellent stay at the Maison du Lac Chalain. The room was cool (in this heatwave) and spacious, the bathroom was superb, and the bedding was excellent. In the evenings, they offered a selection of suitable menus. An ideal location for exploring the Jura lakes region.
10/06/2026: Very friendly welcome. Clean room, but poorly soundproofed. Restaurant: good food but presentation needs improvement. Breakfast was good: fresh bread and pastries.
