A wonderful restaurant, the food is excellent and the service is perfect. The owner is welcoming and always attentive to customers. I recommend it 100%.

While passing through the area, we were fortunate enough to stop at this restaurant where we received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a truly excellent and generous meal. A very good experience; I highly recommend it. The owner and staff go out of their way for their customers. Thank you to them.

Fantastic place! The atmosphere was lovely, and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious! The poached eggs in morel sauce were to die for! We each ordered a cheese course to treat ourselves and shared a dessert. I was only planning on having a small bite, but I ended up eating more than I expected... In short, I highly recommend it. Impeccable and friendly service, and the owner is super nice.

How lovely! Great service, the food tasted really nice and the location in the yard was lovely. Very kind staff. One thing to improve though, there aren’t many vegetarian options, most dishes are meat. We can still highly recommend this place!

20/06/2026: Excellent stay at the Maison du Lac Chalain. The room was cool (in this heatwave) and spacious, the bathroom was superb, and the bedding was excellent. In the evenings, they offered a selection of suitable menus. An ideal location for exploring the Jura lakes region.
10/06/2026: Very friendly welcome. Clean room, but poorly soundproofed. Restaurant: good food but presentation needs improvement. Breakfast was good: fresh bread and pastries.
