One-night stay with my partner. The hotel staff were very responsive, the room (comfort category) was very spacious, comfortable, and clean, with a great bathroom and excellent soundproofing. The price-quality ratio was good, and the restaurant was equally good. However, there was a slight downside to the meal. My partner is vegetarian, and we had requested a vegetarian menu when booking. In the end, we received a simple starter (Comté salad) without ham or bacon (no substitutes), and a main course that was essentially a larger plate of side dishes... so, as is too often the case, not a true vegetarian menu, yet it was sold at the price of the regular menu (€35). Otherwise, the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would recommend it if you are not vegetarian.

We were only passing through for one night two days ago, and we received a very warm welcome. I would simply say it was perfect; it's been a long time since we've had such a wonderful stay and such great value for money. The hotel is decorated with great taste. The rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean. We felt right at home. The dinner was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. A special mention goes to the waitress for her friendliness, kindness, good humor, and professionalism. And let's not forget the owners, who were just as kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back. We highly recommend this hotel and its restaurant!

We ended up at the Maison du Lac Chalain by default, after a local guesthouse fell through, and it turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to us. The hotel is very comfortable, clean, and affordable, the welcome was incredibly warm, and the restaurant offers a superb menu. We'll be back!

A lovely, welcoming little hotel with very affordable prices. A very warm welcome and excellent food. Close to must-see Jura sites such as the Hérisson waterfalls, the Belvedere des 4 Lacs viewpoint, and Baume-les-Messieurs, I had a wonderful stay.

A lovely, cozy little hotel where we spent the end of the year. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious, high-quality ingredients prepared with passion. Special mention goes to the creamy mushroom soup, which was absolutely divine. The breakfasts offered both sweet and savory options.

A very nice hotel with a friendly welcome. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a good-sized shower. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of cold cuts, cheeses, and fruit. The bread was excellent, and for hot dishes like omelets, fried eggs, and grilled bacon, there was something for everyone. Dinner was also very good with a wide selection, as were the varied appetizers. The wines (red, white, and rosé) were of good quality, the beer was good, and the cocktails were excellent. For nature lovers, hiking and cycling are readily available, and there are many beautiful sites to see by car.
