Having previously enjoyed takeaway pizzas from La Scaleta over the years, when visiting Vouvray ,this time we took the opportunity to have a sit- in meal there. The welcome was warm,as always, and our pasta dishes were excellent. The tiramisu is a real delight. Next time, we'll probably " dine in" again. It's popular for all the best reasons.

Apart from the noise from the nearby road, it's a good establishment, nothing to complain about!

Yesterday evening, Tuesday, I arrived at 7:40 pm. It was very busy, people were rushing around. But the welcome was perfect, with smiles all day long despite the pace of the service. What's more, I chose a dish that was on special offer, but only at lunchtime... Since they hadn't removed the menu board, they charged me the lunchtime price, which was very accommodating. It's always a pleasure to come to La Scaleta in Vouvray, and to start the year off on such a delightful note. Thank you.

Le Val Joli

09/09/2026: The welcome and the cuisine are exceptional, traditional yet worthy of a top Michelin-starred chef. The prices are very reasonable and the ingredients are of high quality. I highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to return without hesitation. The chef and his wife are very pleasant and attentive to their customers! Bravo and congratulations!
06/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! The food was excellent, with homemade dishes and high-quality ingredients. The homemade fries were absolutely delicious! The waitress was very polite, smiling, and pleasant, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Special mention for the profiteroles: a real treat! 😍 A place I highly recommend and where I will gladly return!

Les Gueules Noires

10/09/2026: As a regular at Cave Martin, I hadn't been back since the change... The "gueules noires" (black gueules) delighted me and I can't wait to return... the welcome, friendliness, advice and the quality of the food tasted were perfect... a big thank you!
08/08/2026: An incredible restaurant with cuisine bursting with creativity and freshness! Impeccable service on a shaded terrace. We went there after visiting the Vouvray wine cellars, and it was the perfect combination. Thank you, we'll be back!
