Had a delicious meal, service super attentive, dessert and cheese platter also delicious, wines very tasty, top-notch. And the Irish coffee was unsurpassed, thanks for everything.

We had a lovely time at La Scarletta Vouvray. We don't speak much French and the staff were very helpful. Also dog friendly.

We're regulars at this restaurant. We had to wait 50 minutes for our pizzas from the children's menu. That seemed a bit long. When asked how our meal was, we mentioned the wait. The waitress took offense and didn't take our comment well at all. A less curt response would have been much more appreciated.

It's always a pleasure to stop at La Scaleta in Vouvray. Cédric is always very professional, smiling, and attentive to his customers. The servers are all very attentive to their clients. Well done to this team!

05/04/2026: We showed up without reservation and were lucky enough to get a table. Service was very friendly, atmosphere very cool in a cave, and food was superb. Unique mix of flavours, very fresh and excellent ingredients. Highly recommend, best restaurant in the area. Don't forget to make a reservation!
28/03/2026: A must-visit in Touraine, nestled among the Vouvray vineyards. The dishes are original, local, and offer genuine culinary surprises. Bravo to the chef!

26/02/2026: We had a lovely family meal at Val Joli with a large table (12 people)! We received a very warm welcome and were able to chat with attentive staff who took into account some of our family's specific needs (young children, vegetarian option, last-minute dessert order, etc.). The food was also excellent! Simple, home-style cooking made with high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented dishes! All this in a calm and welcoming atmosphere! In short, we don't regret eating at this charming little restaurant at all! We highly recommend it!
