La Simplicité sur Nevers

We've found our new go-to spot! 😊 It's been a long time since we've had such a great time. Being the foodies we are, we fell in love with this restaurant. We arrived, were greeted with a smile, and at our table, the young waiter knew his menu inside and out. In the kitchen, the women were expertly cooking everything perfectly, with no unpleasant surprises. We were impressed by the quality of the ingredients. Over at the wine cellar, the other guy in shorts was doing a fantastic job. With a touch of humor, he'll take you off the beaten path, and you'll leave feeling completely won over. The bar staff were all smiles too; everyone was cheerful, joking around, and we felt right at home, all within a tasteful decor. In short, it was flawless. We loved it, we loved it, and we'll love it again. 😉 Thank you all for this wonderful evening. P.S. Incredible ribeye steak, perfectly cooked and very generous! 🥩 Excellent wine recommendations, a super friendly and funny team. And a special shout-out to the guy in shorts 😂 A truly great place!

An absolutely excellent dinner: perfect service, a perfect blend of humor and professionalism, flavorful and delicious cuisine (special mention to the Yaya beef and the Speculoos Tiramisu 😋), and to top it all off, a little mirabelle plum that packs just the right punch 😅 We'll definitely be back! A monumental culinary revelation! What a huge surprise when we walked through the door of this restaurant! We absolutely weren't expecting such a high standard. It's simply incredible cuisine, masterfully executed from start to finish and bursting with creativity. A massive congratulations to the chef for these memorable dishes, and also to the entire front-of-house team for their warm welcome and kindness. From the moment you step inside, you immediately feel incredibly comfortable, like being at home, only better. A rare gem that we can't wait to return to! On our way back from vacation, we spent the night in Nevers and decided to eat at a restaurant. We found this place exceptional. The welcome, the menu… everything was excellent. For the wine selection: let the man in shorts guide you! A very good selection and no surprises in terms of price. I highly recommend it if you're ever in Nevers.

A warm welcome. Impeccable service. We thoroughly enjoyed the Yaya beef. And then we savored the speculoos tiramisu. The 2023 Hautes-Côtes de Beaune red wine from Domaine Billard Père & Fils was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant!
