What can I say in just a few words about our extraordinary feeling after being loyal to them for 30 years! Beautiful changes, certainly, but they have managed to keep the authentic quality of their homemade dishes, well done to them, they have understood the best in the long term! An unexpectedly wonderful evening at La Sirène restaurant in Cap Gris Nez! Last minute we stopped with four friends for an overnight stay in our campervans, but had not yet arranged anything for dinner. Since there are few food options in the area, we were a bit concerned that we wouldn't find a place. Fortunately, La Sirène still had one table available for two people, and they made an extra effort by adding another table so that the four of us could still eat. Very attentive, especially without a reservation! The service was friendly and relaxed, with a nice joke here and there. For the aperitif we chose a Ricard, Picon Bière and Kirr Royal, which was a pleasant start to the evening. For the main course we went for fried halibut with a delicious white wine sauce, watercress, cauliflower puree and pumpkin seeds. The fish was slightly overcooked, but still juicy and tasty. The vegetables paired perfectly, although we secretly wanted more of that delicious sauce! We enjoyed a nice white wine with the meal, and the wine list offers more than enough choice to find something suitable. The fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation made the dish more than worth the price. Although the restaurant was completely full, the service was very smooth and you could see that the staff responded well to busy evenings. La Sirène surprised us and we will definitely come back here again!

Gorgeous ! All ! The welcome, the atmosphere, the dishes offered, the cuisine is divine, fresh produce and everything homemade! Even the bread... the extraordinary view..... I highly recommend!

We hadden een engeltje die zorgde dat er op zaterdagmiddag toch bij hun gegeten kon worden. In alle opzichten perfect: fruits de mer in volle omvang, professionele bediening, de kosten zijn de kosten voor alle vis en schaal dieren. Ideaal en op prachtige plek. Top top top!

Een schitterend pand en een schitterende locatie. Je dineert praktisch met de voeten in de zee in het hart van één van de mooiste sites van gans Frankrijk. Voor deze prijsklasse had ik van de keuken en de bediening iets meer verwacht. De Fruits de Mer schotels die we zagen waren wel af en dik oké maar het andere eten was wat minder en ook iets te kleine porties.
