We called the restaurant before coming to reserve a table. A woman confirmed that it was possible. Once there, the chef told us the restaurant was full for the evening. I insisted, pointing out that we had a reservation, and he finally asked us to wait for the woman we had spoken to on the phone to arrive. The decor is dated. There is no children's menu. We later discovered, by reading other reviews, that the restaurant doesn't seem very child-friendly. As for the food, it was decent. We appreciated that the dishes were homemade. However, we found the service rather unusual. Several people came while we were waiting, but they were told there were no more tables available, even though the restaurant didn't seem full. If you plan to go, I strongly advise you to call ahead and confirm your reservation.

We discovered this restaurant today at lunchtime. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and plentiful. We received a very warm welcome from the owner. This little restaurant deserves to be better known; the decor is charming, and we will return as soon as we have the chance.
