I happened to pass by and I don't regret eating at all in this really very good restaurant, I'll definitely go back!

Wow! What a surprise—in the best possible way. This ended up being one of the best restaurants in Saint-Émilion, and honestly, we preferred it to Pascal across the street. We visited on our last night after extending our trip. We'd been to Saint-Émilion before but had never given this place a chance, probably because of the Google reviews. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty, which worried us at first. There was just one waiter and one chef working that evening. I started with the foie gras served with sweet wine jelly and gingerbread. It was an incredible combination and some of the best foie gras I've ever had. My husband ordered the seasonal white asparagus, which he loved. For our mains, we both chose the specials. I had the catch of the day, which was beautifully cooked, and my husband had the risotto. No notes—both dishes were excellent. We finished with the apple Tarte Tatin, which was the only dish that didn't quite live up to the rest of the meal. It was good, but not as memorable as everything else. By halfway through dinner, the restaurant was completely full, mostly with French diners, which felt like a very good sign. Several people were turned away, so I'd recommend making a reservation, even if it's just on the morning of your visit. Despite having only one waiter serving the entire restaurant, the service was attentive throughout. We never felt rushed or left waiting, which was genuinely impressive. Well done to the team. We'll definitely be back, and I'd thoroughly recommend this restaurant over some of the higher-rated options in town. If you're looking for exceptional food rather than a flashy, "upscale" interior, this is the place to go.

It's not worth it. The quality-price ratio is poor.

Small but charming place. It was hot, but with the fans and air conditioning, it was comfortable. The food was amazing. The only downside was the waitress's service; she was rude on several occasions, although the other waiter was very nice.

A must-try address in Saint-Émilion! Delicious food, a warm welcome, and top-notch service. I highly recommend it. 😊
