25/03/2024: One-line review: This is what French restaurants are like!
I went for lunch before visiting the nearby Wine Trade Museum, and it ended up being a good meal.
I ate two platters (pork ribs and a hamburger) and a piece of chocolate for dessert.
The pork ribs were quite impressive. Although it had a strong herbal scent and was cooked crispy, the inside was quite rare, but the combination of pork and fat was soft and savory, so I was quite satisfied. It was fun because I thought I could cook pork this way.
The hamburger was made well in many ways and had good ingredients, but one thing that was surprising was that they poured sauce on the burger made with all the buns stacked on top of each other. After a while, it felt like the bread was a bit crumbly, but there was something about it that gave the food a sense of unity, but when I came here and read the reviews, it felt like it wasn't the usual method...? Hahaha, it was still refreshing. Basically, the ingredients were good.
Lastly, the dessert was quite impressive. The combination of chocolate, cream, and hazelnuts was quite good. At the same time, it was not too sweet and the texture was well balanced between moist and fluffy, so I was quite satisfied.
There are so many restaurants around, I don't think I'll have many opportunities to go to Bordeaux in my life, so I can't guarantee, but it was definitely a good experience.
