I stopped in Martigne and decided to eat here for the second time this year, while traveling between Italy and Spain. It's a restaurant in a unique location overlooking the canal, with a view of the sunset. It has outdoor seating, and it's very pleasant to eat there, and the food is excellent. The service is excellent, too. The husband and wife team—she takes care of the service and he takes care of the kitchen—really enjoyed it. I've been back, and I wasn't wrong.

We ate there yesterday and frankly, the reviews are well-deserved. Flammenkueche, sauerkraut, and a generously portioned chocolate fondant, accompanied by crème anglaise, ice cream, and whipped cream. For a reasonable price, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Plus, the owners were very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Le Reverdigo

08/07/2026: Note: the place is listed as “Les Dauphins” on the map, but the sign on the restaurant actually says “Reverdigo” We stopped by just for coffee. The coffee itself wasn’t anything special, but the staff more than made up for it. They apologized that they weren’t serving pancakes yet, and even suggested we grab some treats from the bakery next door and bring them over to enjoy with their coffee — which we really appreciated. The waitress was very friendly and easy to talk to, even as foreigners.
25/06/2026: I went there twice just for a coffee and they are very pleasant and the coffee (and I'm a picky eater) is really very good.
