Le Carro Bleu sur Martigues

Arriving late, a party of four, we were welcomed without any problems. We had two sea bream, a seafood salad, and mussels marinière: perfect! Then, in the afternoon, we had ice cream: a very pleasant stay. The wait time for the sea bream to be prepared was normal!

A real gem at Le Carro Bleu. Everything was perfect, from start to finish. The waitress was a ray of sunshine: welcoming, warm, and funny, she made us feel right at home. I ordered the octopus, and I mean it: I ate octopus all week in the area, and none of them came close to this one. Absolutely not rubbery, meltingly tender, perfectly cooked—and served whole, not just a few tentacles lost on the plate. You can tell they know their stuff. My friend is vegetarian: they made him a custom salad without hesitation, and he loved it. The icing on the cake was that the owner, who cooks herself, came to pay the bill—she was lovely and funny, exactly the kind of person you come to a place like this for. Food, service, atmosphere: nothing to complain about. We'll be back, and we'll tell everyone we know. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Excellent! Fresh produce! Fantastic waitress! Highly recommended! We just need to book a table to try the bouillabaisse. I've heard it's definitely worth the trip!

Great restaurant, fantastic welcome, wonderful family atmosphere, I highly recommend it. A little tip: the octopus is enormous! You won't leave hungry. For those with smaller appetites like me, you can take the leftovers home or bring your own Tupperware 😂😂😂. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again. Absolutely fantastic!

Disappointed. Rubbery fish dish, chili on the fish inedible, truly horrible service, the worst part being they told you to go somewhere else.
