This unassuming restaurant on the side of the road ended up being one of the best meals we had in the Dordogne, which is known for food. Charming and authentic. Highly recommend

Due to a booking error, we arrived at the Manor restaurant a month before it opened, but the owner very kindly directed us to Jean's table and offered us an aperitif! A very lovely restaurant with equally good food; the wood-burning stove in the dining room creates a warm atmosphere, perfectly complemented by the head waiter and the waitress! An address I will remember and return to!

12/05/2026: The manor is a magical place, secluded from the world, ideal for recharging your batteries. You'll be soothed by the beauty of the surroundings. The rooms have character, the bedding and pillows are very comfortable, the staff is very welcoming, and the breakfast is of superb quality, from still-warm bread to pastries, not to mention cherry jam or the excellent fresh fruit salad, as well as the many cheeses—a delight served in the beautiful dining room of the gourmet restaurant in front of the fireplace—a truly blissful experience. (To complete this moment, all that's missing is a minibar and a coffee machine in the room, and after a day of walking, a larger television would be welcome, as well as a bar to enjoy the magnificent views outside.) It's truly the perfect place to enjoy this magnificent region 😍
