There are places that light up your eyes when you discover them. And when these places are inhabited by beautiful, simple, and generous souls, the light radiates and floods your heart. Marie-Jo, Patrick, their teams, and the Hautegente Manor are among them. Thank you for making our wedding anniversary weekend, during a time disrupted by illness, a truly magical and enchanting moment. Room, table, breakfast, smiles, kindness, warmth, thoughtful touches... everything was more than perfect 🥰 You are now part of our life and love story. Three days spent in paradise! At the Hautegente manor, we were welcomed like family by Marie Josée, Patrick, and all the staff! Hautegente is a unique place that will awaken your five senses: - sight (magnificent setting: garden, house, river, pool…), - hearing (the soothing sound of flowing water and birdsong), - taste (the breakfast and restaurant are delicious and of high quality), - touch (animals to pet, soft linens, comfortable outdoor sofas…), - smell (beautiful flowers and mint filling the lawn, perfect for relaxation) … What more could you ask for?

What a wonderful stop in the Périgord Noir! We particularly appreciated the warm welcome and the professionalism of the entire team. The staff were competent, kind, attentive, and always available, which greatly contributed to our enjoyable stay. The restaurant also deserves a special mention: refined cuisine, impeccable service, and an experience that, in our opinion, easily earns a Michelin star. As for the setting, it is simply magnificent and already makes us want to return. Well done to the whole team and thank you for these wonderful moments. 👏

We had a wonderful weekend at the Manoir de Hautegente. The setting is magnificent, idyllic with a small waterfall. The meals were delicious, of a high gastronomic standard. The breakfasts were also perfect, featuring quality products. I should add that the staff was very attentive, with a special mention for Sofia who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and delighted us with her enthusiasm and professionalism.

Magnificent! An exceptional welcome and staff, an idyllic setting, an enchanting interlude on the water. Everything is there to ensure you have a magical experience. As for the chef who promised us a culinary journey, it was wow!!! It even brought back childhood memories. Bravo! I can't wait to come back, thank you again a thousand times! It's rare these days to find an establishment that offers such high-quality service with such attentive staff.

A truly splendid discovery in the heart of the Périgord! A superb family manor nestled beside a refreshing little stream. Tastefully renovated rooms that retain their authentic charm. A warm welcome from owners Patrick and Marie-Jo Hamelin, who put their hearts into welcoming their guests individually, like members of the family. Refined, original, and almost gourmet cuisine at the hotel, served under the pergola overlooking the pond. And just a stone's throw away in the village, for a change of pace, is the family-run bistro La Table de Jean with its succulent meats. A large, idyllic park where you can stroll along the banks of the little Coly River. A lovely, peaceful swimming pool—in short, pure bliss for a stopover or a dream vacation! And the icing on the cake is that Marie-Jo will create a tailor-made stay for you, combining visits to majestic medieval castles, extraordinary gardens, and prehistoric sites. For us, every morning meant exploring mountain bike routes and discovering great cafes and charming terraces. A true place to unwind and be enchanted! It became our little paradise, whether as a couple, with friends, or as a family. One of those places you never forget and where you can't wait to return.

We were fortunate enough to spend two nights at Manoir Hautegente, and it was an absolutely wonderful interlude. The place is magnificent, peaceful, and full of charm, but what we will remember most is the immense generosity and kindness of Marie-Josée, the owner, who welcomed us with such warmth and attentiveness. Her daughter, Juliette, was also delightful throughout our stay. During a difficult period in our lives, this stay offered us much more than just accommodation: peace, comfort, and precious moments together. Everything was perfect, from the rooms to the breakfast, not to mention the gentle and authentic atmosphere of the place. A huge thank you for this timeless escape that we will never forget. We wholeheartedly recommend this manor.
