La Table de l'Alpaga sur Megeve

We discovered La Table de l'Alpaga during our stay in Megève, and everything was perfect. Delicate and flavorful dishes, a magnificent setting, and attentive service. We had a truly magical time.

Undoubtedly an excellent restaurant, but I was still a little disappointed by the choice of dishes. A revisited onion soup, endives, beef, and vegetables in the style of a pot-au-feu—certainly extremely well-revisited and elegantly presented—but the ingredients were still simple. The staff was very attentive. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, which I had mentioned when making the reservation, and the chocolate plaque that accompanied our dessert was engraved with "Happy Wedding Anniversary"... what a shame...

We went for dinner first night of pur arrival. The service is outstanding, we took the 8 courses it was a lot for us. We skipped the cheese and returned a couple of plates. The desert was exceptional. We didn't like that the bill came with a different price of alcohool than what it is supposed as per the menu. We raised the issue and they corrected .

Highly inventive cuisine, focused on local products. Originality and flawless execution make for a delight for the palate with surprising flavors. The execution is impeccable. Very professional and attentive service; the sommelier provides advice and commentary. Original breads are offered for each course. The cuisine is top-notch, but the decor of the dining room is a drawback: cold and impersonal; the bistro tables are too simple and don't live up to the quality of the food.

A truly wonderful experience at this restaurant, which elevates local produce. Perfect cooking and seasoning. A great deal of originality in the choice of ingredients, resulting in well-balanced dishes with bold flavors. A must-try!
