The restaurant is charming and authentic, but we loved it. At first, you wonder if it's going to be any good. But the owner and the waitress are very friendly and professional, the food is excellent, and the chef is working alone in the kitchen, yet he managed perfectly despite the crowd of about thirty covers that evening. I highly recommend it, if of course you want to spend a relaxing evening and not just grab a quick bite.

Deciding to avoid the highway in favor of exploring our beautiful countryside, we found ourselves in Figeac, stopping for what I would call a gastronomic experience at "La Table de Marinette." The facade is unremarkable, but once inside, everything exudes authenticity. Former stables have been transformed into a timeless space. The service seems a little slow, but you understand why when the homemade dishes arrive; it's simply artisanal. Beyond the quality, the quantity is also impressive. While bread is usually essential for me, and although it was delicious in itself, I much prefer the exquisite flavors of these dishes. I'll let you discover them for yourselves. The Art Deco ambiance is delightful, and beyond that, the ample space between tables ensures a calm and relaxed atmosphere. As for the food, it's excellent: fresh, high-quality ingredients, generous portions, expertly prepared dishes bursting with flavor—a delight from start to finish, complemented by a fine wine list.

We discovered this restaurant, which was recommended to us, and had a wonderful time. We returned during our stay in the Figeac region. The food was excellent, with a chef who prioritizes local produce and homemade dishes. The service was impeccable, with tablecloths and cloth napkins in a beautiful dining room. The restaurant is also frequented by locals, which speaks to its quality. I highly recommend it.

A must-try. Beyond the slightly retro atmosphere, a kindness and warmth reminiscent of another era accompany excellent traditional cuisine. The menu is limited (two set menus), but everything is homemade! Note: they're open on Sundays!

What a wonderful discovery! Superb meal with a 5-star welcome from the owner. Don't hesitate and let yourself be carried away by the excellent food and the original 1920s Art Deco decor. We had a magnificent evening.
