La Table des Granges sur Les Houches

We had a fantastic dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant, and the raclette was absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend it.

Stunning view, but what a shame! We ordered glasses of wine at €9 and €14 a glass, and were nonchalantly told there was nothing to accompany them (peanuts or anything, NOTHING). After finishing dessert, we were asked to leave the restaurant because it was closing time. We were on the terrace with friends (four of us), and we had paid a bill of €200… Very disappointing. We won't be going back; it's a shame about the setting.

The setting is magnificent, and the young man at the bar who greeted us was very friendly and smiling, without being overly familiar. The two waitresses were pleasant and offered good advice. However, life's little mishaps spoiled our evening (a Spanish-speaking family with children who wouldn't stay at the table, constantly pacing back and forth and talking loudly...without any comment from the parents). We left fairly quickly after a delicious fondue in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We wish your entire team a wonderful season! Denitsa & Frank Grorud

An excellent meal in an exceptional setting; it's always a pleasure to end our week's holiday in Les Houches by coming to your establishment. The two waitresses were lovely and very helpful. Thank you for this evening; we'll be back next year!

A large group lunch that went very well. A warm atmosphere and a lovely view. And of course, delicious food!

This was our favorite restaurant in more than a week of traveling throughout the Chamonix Valley and all the neighboring resorts from Megeve all the way to the border of Switzerland. It's a bit far away from the crowds of Chamonix, which is really nice. It's up in the hills with gorgeous views. Best of all, the food is incredible (we highly recommend anything with cheese, especially the raclette, which is a specialty of the area). And the waiter Evan was superb.
