Very good food and friendly service in this hotel/restaurant off the main road in a lovely garden. Great French country cooking. Amazing cheese trolley. Recommended
Nous avons dîner un soir de canicule, on nous a servi un cocktail qui n'avait rien à voir avec ce que nous avions demandé mais il fût remplacé heureusement.
Mon foie gras était bien mou comme du foie cru juste cuit mais il faisait bien chaud c'est peut-être la raison.
Le plat était goûteux, par contre le dessert vraiment quelconque.
Dommage au vu du prix je m'attendais à mieux.
1st experience in 2023: superb location, calm and relaxing, incomparable breakfast (even with other hotels of the same range elsewhere in France). I recommend without hesitation, we can even take our dog or cat and their park is ideal for that!
A perfect stop on your way to or from Vichy. This is an adorable inn with an excellent restaurant and charming management. We came just for dinner (which wildly exceeded our expectations—especially the desserts), and spent the night to avoid the additional hour drive to Vichy (an important detail if you want to drink wine). In the morning a lovely breakfast served by friendly staff. My only advice is that is you are a couple-don’t take the twin bed ensemble unless you want to end up on the floor. Take the double bed.
