Traditional cuisine and homemade preparations; I ate excellent pork ribs with honey and rosemary sauce and a red fruit parfait; the cooking is masterful and the dessert beautifully finishes the meal; the service is quick and attentive, the tables on the terrace are shaded and quiet, all for a reasonable price.

Outstanding food and personable staff. We had hoped to return but the chef will retire at the end of the month. Visit while you can

✨️... a beautiful, charming restaurant with excellent cuisine. ❤️ We thoroughly enjoyed it.... The food was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, we learned that the restaurant is closing very soon. A well-deserved retirement, but a real shame for us guests. So, go while you still have the chance. Enjoy! 🥂 Thank you for this lovely evening on my birthday. ❤️

The welcome: simple, warm, and pleasant. The food: I tried the filet mignon with foie gras. A delight! I make it myself and am often a little disappointed. But this, frankly, was a real treat! I can only say one thing: go there, but book in advance.

We got a table for lunch without any problems. The food is simply excellent and the service is top-notch. The prices are reasonable considering the location. English wasn't a problem. The menu is also in German, and one of the waiters speaks German quite well.

What a shame it's closing, but after 50 years of work, it's a well-deserved rest. Thank you for the quality of the meals and the warm welcome, so typical of our Alsace, and what a magnificent space!

A l'Observatoire

21/09/2026: L’Observatoire is one of our go-to spots! I go there regularly with a friend, and it’s also our favorite place for lunch with colleagues when we want to take the time to get together over a good meal. The menu offers a varied selection, and the dishes are always delicious. A special mention goes to the daily lunch special: a generous, well-filled, and flavorful plate at a very reasonable price. It’s an excellent option for a tasty lunch without breaking the bank. The service is quick, friendly, and efficient, which is especially appreciated during lunchtime.
17/09/2026: The food is excellent, the service impeccable, and the staff are really nice! I highly recommend this place.
