Typically good Alsatian fare in a small cozy setting in a small street off the main drag. Sausage platter with three meats was as expected. Nothing spectacular but Winsubs are supposed to be comfort food so it was fine. Alsatian salad and onion soup also up to quality. Service was well within reason.

This restaurant came up as a recommendation on one of the blogs and I was impressed with the food quality and service.. I tried the sauerkraut with fish and the grandmas beef stew which was a winner.

A beautiful, cozy restaurant, quietly located on a side street.
The AI recommended this restaurant to us, supposedly with good tarte flambée. They also had very tasty Alsatian dishes, just no tarte flambée.
Nevertheless, it's worth a visit to enjoy a delicious meal and a good glass of wine.

The restaurant has a rustic decor, but it felt a bit cramped to my taste. Everyone enjoyed the food; personally, I found the meat in the stew a little too fatty, but the broth was excellent.

Unlike in the film "The Sting," no one gets ripped off here. So, if you're in the mood for traditional Alsatian cuisine, this is the place to be. The menu ranges from escargots, foie gras, veal kidneys, and Bibeleskäse (a type of soft cheese) to grandma's stew and a mixed meat platter. Personally, we felt the food could have used a bit more seasoning. The elegant wood-paneled ceilings and walls, along with the many pictures and traditionally set tables, create a special and very pleasant atmosphere. This restaurant is often crowded during peak tourist season, so we would recommend going at lunchtime.
