The products are very good.
Semi-cooked foie gras, and
Duck parmentier with foie gras: a real delight.
The roasted Camembert is perfect and the accompaniment is hearty.
Missing a little fleur de sel on the table.
The prices are correct for the quality.
The setting is nice, clean.
Recommended in Monta.

Nicely decorated restaurant with a bar area. There are some tapas and French starters/mains/desserts to choose from. The wine selection is very good. We were served extremely friendly and courteously. All the dishes we ordered (chipirons, gambas tempura, foie gras with chutney, beef tartare, crème brulee, mousse au chocolat) were of very good quality and perfectly seasoned. Clear recommendation.

A harsh welcome, the waitress first asked us to speak louder because she couldn't hear because of her music then reproached us for taking a place at the table only to order tapas and a dessert. Too bad because the meal was very good.

On the first day of my recent visit to my brother many of the nearby restaurants were closed for lunch, so we ventured into Montalivet knowing we were guaranteed to find somewhere. We found La Table Paysanne, which we hadn’t been to before. It’s situated on a side road a couple of streets away from the main pedestrian drag, Avenue de l’Océan, which might explain why we’d not seen it before.
There’s a terrace with an entrance flanked by a couple of large motorbikes and the main restaurant inside. We were greeted by a charming young woman who was efficient and friendly throughout. The dining area inside is light and airy.
We had decided to share a starter, chipirons, and a main course, Planche de la Mer, both on the menu under Tapas. Our waitress explained that the chipirons were included in the Planche de la Mer, so we each plumped for the platter. This generous serving of fried seafood (apart from the chipirons) including several gambas tempura and accras de morue fish balls. It was all delicious though a bit of a challenge to finish it all.
We enjoyed our visit so much that we booked lunch on Bastille Day with two friends. The experience was just as good as the first time. I chose the gambas tempura for my starter followed truffle ravioli; both were terrific. My companions all enjoyed everything, and gave a particular shoutout to the pork cheeks.
The cost of our meals were more than justified by the quality of food and our enjoyment of the experiences.

Un repas agréable. Service respectueux du client ou chaque plat est reçu normalement. Pas de plat en meme temps que l'apero ou le café en meme temps que le dessert, ce qui arrive trop souvent chez d'autre restaurateur. Les plats sont beaux et agréable au gout. La simple salade de chévre chaud est gouteuse avec le chevre chaud dans un nid, tres bon. Le dessert fait maison, la dacquoise, tres bon. Merci pour le service.
