Although we arrived very late, we received a very friendly welcome and excellent service. I highly recommend the Salad Landaise and Salad Ocean. With an ice-cold Rose – what could be better!

Five years after our first visit, we were back here again, and a lot has changed!
The restaurant strikes me as unkempt. Dust and cobwebs everywhere.
And I didn't like my meal. The ravioli, in my opinion, were pre-made and overcooked. And the decoration on it was more than odd. When I asked, I was told it was something like a prawn cracker.

We ordered a Milanese cutlet that wasn't properly breaded and wasn't golden brown. The breadcrumbs were coming off...
The fries were hard and greasy.
And when I made a point of it. When I was told it went well, I said almost...
Which didn't please the cook, the owner.
Instead of asking why, to take the criticism positively, she shouted very loudly, "If they're not happy, they can eat somewhere else..."
Wow, how polite...
For 50 euros for two... I think I could have had a little respect...
I don't recommend it at all.
I worked in retail for 45 years and I would never have responded like that...
But we must not have had the same upbringing...

We just left this fabulous restaurant (August 27th in the evening). You can go there with your eyes closed. The dishes are delicious, bravo to the chef and his team, the boss (I think it was him) super nice and friendly. Big shout out to the waitress!!!! Professional, kind, who takes the time to talk with customers. Best waitress in Montalivet! In short, we loved it!!!!
