I love this very unique restaurant located on the main road in the center of Dol-de-Bretagne. A warm welcome, local cuisine, and meat cooked in an old hearth. Reasonable prices and fantastic crêpes, even as a starter for those with a big appetite, and I'm one of them.

We had a wonderful time at this beautifully decorated restaurant. The welcome was very friendly, the chef worked his magic in front of his fireplace grilling beautiful cuts of meat, and the service was quick and efficient.

Had a super family meal here. Waiter was brilliant- really helpful. Food was lovely. You can see and smell it being prepared. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Plenty of parking around and we went on a Sunday evening when many other places were not open.

A wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was quick, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. 21/07/2026: Well... What can I say?! It's not the first time I've melted over his burger... wow, my mouth is watering! My apologies, Doctor! I forgot to mention that I couldn't resist the desserts either! (And understandably so.) Every time I'm in Dol, I allow myself this little indulgence, but I have to admit, it's worth it! And what's more, the owner is friendly and welcoming... So, bikers, if you want to forget about your diet for a bit, go for it, because he's a biker too! Happy riding, everyone!

Restaurant Hôtel de Bretagne

08/05/2026: The hotel is a bit outdated. The room was comfortable, but not spotlessly clean. There was a very strong cooking smell coming from the kitchen in the hotel, and unfortunately, in our room as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to park for free in front of the hotel. It is located right in the center of Dol de Bretagne.
14/04/2026: Back again, drawn by nostalgia... The food is as delicious as ever. The service is always impeccable. 2024: A pleasant stay in a cozy and comfortable hotel located in a charming little town steeped in history. The food is excellent; the varied and flavorful dishes are served with care and a smile.
