The hotel is a bit outdated. The room was comfortable, but not spotlessly clean. There was a very strong cooking smell coming from the kitchen in the hotel, and unfortunately, in our room as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to park for free in front of the hotel. It is located right in the center of Dol de Bretagne.

Back again, drawn by nostalgia... The food is as delicious as ever. The service is always impeccable. 2024: A pleasant stay in a cozy and comfortable hotel located in a charming little town steeped in history. The food is excellent; the varied and flavorful dishes are served with care and a smile.

Hotel well located. Large room. It's a shame the cleanliness wasn't up to par: lots of dust, bathroom door covered in marks, windows/French doors and their frames hadn't been cleaned for several years, and the breakfast dishes were dirty. Breakfast was disappointing: very little variety, not replenished daily. The breakfast staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming.

Long established Hotel family run over generations it seems. Slightly old fashioned set up but very homely. Very attentive staff who were keen to get to know us and our habits over 5 days. Food very acceptable if not gourmet level. We loved it for the location and the friendly feeling in the hotel and yesterday town generally. Would revisit .

The restaurant offers several menus. Fresh, high-quality ingredients, well-prepared. Very reasonable prices. Plenty of choice. Very spacious and pleasant dining room. The only downside is that the seats are too deep. Parking is available next to the restaurant, near the main shopping street and the market. Well located. Very friendly staff. I recommend it.

Lunch. Excellent value for money, as the dishes offered, from starter to dessert, prepared with local produce from the land and sea, are delicious and generous, and the prices are very reasonable (€29 for a starter, main course, and dessert; we took the desserts to go!). And I love the white linen tablecloths and napkins!

Invest in a tumble dryer. The towels are incredibly rough! Apart from that, it's a beautiful, clean hotel with delicious food!

17/09/2026: A warm welcome, the mussels in cream sauce were delicious, as was the burger. We appreciated that everything was homemade in a medieval setting! I highly recommend it. A lovely encounter with the restaurant owner.
15/09/2026: We had a very enjoyable time. The owner and staff are very friendly and the mussels and fries were excellent!

16/08/2026: A very nice and cozy hidden gem of Dol De Bretagne. We were served by a woman in a floral green sundress, who had a bright smile and a great attitude. She was very sweet and understanding of our requests like no cheese or bacon. The food was here in less than 5 minutes and tje drinks were here in even less. I was sadly dissapointed by the chicken burger. It was covered in seeds and tasted pretty bad overall. But i loved the atmosphere here and will definitely return when i visit Dol again! update: we just ordered dessert - excited!! update 2: the dessert was absolutely delicious! I definitely reccomend the kinder cookie!
21/07/2026: Well... What can I say?! It's not the first time I've melted over his burger... wow, my mouth is watering! My apologies, Doctor! I forgot to mention that I couldn't resist the desserts either! (And understandably so.) Every time I'm in Dol, I allow myself this little indulgence, but I have to admit, it's worth it! And what's more, the owner is friendly and welcoming... So, bikers, if you want to forget about your diet for a bit, go for it, because he's a biker too! Happy riding, everyone!
