Restaurant Hôtel de Bretagne sur Dol-De-Bretagne

The hotel is a bit outdated. The room was comfortable, but not spotlessly clean. There was a very strong cooking smell coming from the kitchen in the hotel, and unfortunately, in our room as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to park for free in front of the hotel. It is located right in the center of Dol de Bretagne.

Back again, drawn by nostalgia... The food is as delicious as ever. The service is always impeccable. 2024: A pleasant stay in a cozy and comfortable hotel located in a charming little town steeped in history. The food is excellent; the varied and flavorful dishes are served with care and a smile.

Hotel well located. Large room. It's a shame the cleanliness wasn't up to par: lots of dust, bathroom door covered in marks, windows/French doors and their frames hadn't been cleaned for several years, and the breakfast dishes were dirty. Breakfast was disappointing: very little variety, not replenished daily. The breakfast staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming.

We had dinner here. The food and service were both excellent. We'd gladly come again! 👍👍

Long established Hotel family run over generations it seems. Slightly old fashioned set up but very homely. Very attentive staff who were keen to get to know us and our habits over 5 days. Food very acceptable if not gourmet level. We loved it for the location and the friendly feeling in the hotel and yesterday town generally. Would revisit .

I went there for lunch, a real treat, cozy atmosphere. A must-do.

The restaurant offers several menus. Fresh, high-quality ingredients, well-prepared. Very reasonable prices. Plenty of choice. Very spacious and pleasant dining room. The only downside is that the seats are too deep. Parking is available next to the restaurant, near the main shopping street and the market. Well located. Very friendly staff. I recommend it.

Lunch. Excellent value for money, as the dishes offered, from starter to dessert, prepared with local produce from the land and sea, are delicious and generous, and the prices are very reasonable (€29 for a starter, main course, and dessert; we took the desserts to go!). And I love the white linen tablecloths and napkins!

Invest in a tumble dryer. The towels are incredibly rough! Apart from that, it's a beautiful, clean hotel with delicious food!
