La Tantina de Burgos sur Biarritz

A wonderful restaurant with a great atmosphere. We enjoyed our meal on the terrace. The only downside was that the croquettes were really just average. The owner heard our surprise about this and took the time to apologize and discuss the situation with us. Other customers had apparently expressed the same dissatisfaction/questions. He was very professional, transparent, and honest with us, explaining that his supplier hadn't provided the usual quality and offered us two lovely after-dinner drinks. The grilled baby squid, on the other hand, were delicious. Thank you for the excellent welcome and the friendly, high-quality service we received. We look forward to returning. Everything was very good, from the razor clams as a starter, to the baby squid and Iberian pork as main courses, and the desserts to finish, all at a very reasonable price.

Excellent family restaurant where quality is a true priority. We chose dishes from the daily specials, and everything was absolutely delicious. It's exactly the kind of local spot you want to recommend and return to. A big thank you also to the bartender for his professionalism, charm, and the wonderful atmosphere he creates!

Excellent food, delicious and very reasonably priced. And the service was unbeatable, super attentive and kind to the children. We went without a reservation, two families, and they treated us wonderfully.

We chose a seafood dinner and loved it all: razor clams, mussels, txangurro, and chipirons à la plancha, accompanied by an excellent local wine. Excellent ingredients, simple yet flavorful dishes. The service was very fast, attentive, and incredibly helpful, but above all, we found a spontaneous and warm welcome that made us feel at home from start to finish. And then the finale: the cherry Basque gateau. Extraordinary! Highly recommended
