La Tarte Au Sucre sur Thionville

The bakery is clean, the products are high quality, and the manager is kind, respectful, and welcoming. However, I would like to report the behavior of some of the saleswomen. At the end of 2024, more precisely on December 12th around 8:40 a.m., before going to work, I stopped by the La Tarte au Sucre bakery to buy a marble cake and some doughnuts. There were two saleswomen in the shop, deep in conversation. I said hello twice, without a response. The third time, I said, "Is anyone there?" One of them then turned around and looked at me strangely. When I asked for doughnuts, she replied in a very firm tone, "I don't have any doughnuts, period." At the time, I didn't pay any attention to it, but in retrospect, this situation made me feel uncomfortable. I find it regrettable that a lack of courtesy on the part of some saleswomen can tarnish the image of an otherwise high-quality establishment. I hope that this type of behavior can be corrected in the future.

For a first time, I will come back

A local classic. Cream puffs in various flavors. Special mention for the Bueno-flavored one. The croissants are also very good.

Very good bakery, the pastries and sandwiches are amazing 👍 I'm updating my review because the prices have really gone up. €8.50 for the snack menu with a drink and dessert is a bit pricey!

The sugar pie was very dry compared to the first one I bought.
