La Tarte Tropézienne sur Cannes

We asked for some cold milk to go with our coffee (maybe a strange request, but whatever, it's not difficult to do) and the staff member flat-out refused, saying she doesn't make "anything" cold. This tiny little bit of flexibility, if the staff would make just a smallest effort, would have earned a 5-star from me, because the tartes were excellent.

Nous sommes des habitués (3/4 fois par semaine) pour le café+viennoiserie et bien sûr l'achat de l'incontournable tarte. L'accueil est chaleureux (sourire garantie par la jeune fille blonde -Julie ?- ), les produits de qualité, les conseils d'achats toujours au top, la terrasse donnant sur le marché de Forville propre et ses tables débarrassées et nettoyées, bref nous recommandons cette pâtisserie à tous les gourmands.

Tropézienne tart, a dream! A generous portion for 4.70 euros. Well-risen brioche and delicious cream. I will return there as soon as possible.

Bought a croissant this morning for 1.20 euros. The croissant is good, flaky but you don't feel the butter enough

As a sweet tooth lover, I knew I had to visit this shop when I visit Cannes. I have done some research that the tarte tropézienne is a local sweet treat and one of the best can be found in this shop so I managed to find this shop when I was sightseeing in Cannes. It wasn't crowded when I visited, there was just one customer in front of me. I was looking at the display and I was like how nice it would be if I could try everything here. As it was my turn to order, of course I had to order the signature tarte tropézienne, then I asked the female staff to recommend me something else. She couldn't speak English much but she still managed to recommend me the big fat macaroon. I paid for the food and I told her I wanted to dine in the shop. There is only 1 high table and 2 high chairs in the shop because of space constraints. I fell in love with the tarte tropézienne when I ate it, just so nice and not so sweet. Loved the centre creamy section which looked like some thick custard cream tasted so nice. The pastry was also light and not dry so finishing a piece of that wasn't difficult. Next I had the macaroon which to my surprise there was also the creamy filling inside! It went well with the raspberries with the cirtus flavours, loved the combination. I really recommend all sweet tooth lovers to come visit this shop and try out the tarte tropézienne.
