La Tarte Tropézienne sur Bandol

Lunch in the shade on the terrace! We thoroughly enjoyed the pan bagnat, with a special mention for the iced coffee!

The Tropezienne tart is great, and it's right here!! For everything else, you'll need to go to a pastry shop. The flan looks like it came from a store. The éclair is only half full. 🤷🏼

The Tarte Tropézienne is in Bandol! Along the port, a lovely little shop full of delicious products, including mini Tropézienne tarts like the one in the photo... Raspberry version, very good 😋

A sure bet for enjoying a truly authentic Tropézienne tart! The shop is pleasant and ideally located on the port. I was also pleasantly surprised to discover a whole range of related products (water bottles, fans, tote bags, etc.), an original touch that sets it apart from traditional pastries. The classic Tropézienne tart is as delicious as ever. What impressed me most was the balance of the cream: it's not too sweet, yet very fragrant and smooth. Combined with the lightly sweetened brioche, the result is truly excellent. The prices reflect the true expertise of this iconic specialty. It's a treat you enjoy indulging in from time to time, and the quality is undeniable. The only thing that concerned me was the display case. Some of the pastries are exposed to the sun at the end of the day, and despite refrigeration, this can make you worry that the cream might get a little warm. Additional protection, such as a blind or other sunshade, might be beneficial for preserving the cakes in optimal condition. It remains an excellent place to discover or rediscover the authentic Tarte Tropézienne.
