A long-established chocolate shop in Bayonne. I had hot chocolate at the café on the second floor. They poured the chocolate from a magnificent pot, and refills were available. The opulent interior, the music playing from what seemed like an antique radio—it was like stepping back in time.

We had a wonderful time as a family in this place where the passion for chocolate and family expertise are passed down. The staff were lovely; thank you again for their warm welcome and for treating our little girl so well! The decor is magnificent. A huge thank you again, and we look forward to returning to delight our taste buds!

This place is worth going to for its charm. Especially if you go in a group of 4 to 6, you might be lucky and get a high wooden table with some seats so that people can sit together. We ordered the typical chocolate, which they bring with a cup of cream, but we were disappointed with the cream because if I'm not mistaken, it's cream from a jar. In a place specializing in chocolate, they can't bring cream from a jar, especially when paying €9. We weren't convinced by the piece of carrot cake they brought us either. In general, the teak didn't seem like anything out of the ordinary. However, the service and the place are worth it. The display of chocolate jars and the period decoration are authentic.

12/07/2026: A real gem in Bayonne 🧡 We recently tried this restaurant and it was a truly wonderful surprise. It's run by a fantastic couple; the husband in the kitchen, the wife in the dining room, just the two of them, and it shows in the best possible way. Everything is homemade, with fresh, seasonal ingredients, and you can taste the care that goes into every dish. The menu is intentionally short, which shows that everything is carefully prepared. We took our time choosing, and everything we tasted was truly delicious and beautifully presented. As for the atmosphere, the place is super cute and welcoming; you immediately feel at home. A real fan of the vibe here after 10 pm ;) The service is fantastic. They are both lovely, smiling, and available without being intrusive. You can tell it's a genuine project, done with passion. In short, if you're looking for an authentic spot in Bayonne, run by people who do things with heart, go for it. We'll definitely be back!
