I only went to the restaurant, where I had octopus as a starter and sweetbreads as a main course. The food was good quality, but the portions were small... lovely terrace in a fairly quiet location and a friendly atmosphere.

A short one night stay before heading to the start of the Camino Compostela. We arrived late and this was not a problem and reception were happy to welcome us when we arrived.
Lovely square to enjoy and a grand turret entrance. Great location for visiting Bayonne.
Loved the town and think we’ll be back.

Third visit to the restaurant: still a delight! The setting is warm and elegant. The staff (kitchen and service) are always perfect! Discreet yet welcoming :)
The dishes are of very high quality. Excellent cocktails as well. I always return with pleasure.

We regularly spend weekends in Bayonne and always book the Hôtel des Basses Pyrénées. The rooms are comfortable, the staff are welcoming and friendly, the location is ideal, and the breakfast is excellent. We never hesitate to book our stays in Bayonne again.

A very nice hotel, ideally located for visiting Bayonne and the surrounding area. The room was beautifully laid out, and the bedding was comfortable. A huge thank you for your absolutely perfect welcome and your invaluable advice. The breakfast was delicious, varied, and made up mainly of local products.

We received a very warm welcome from the staff, and the family suite was very spacious, clean, and quiet!

Spending a weekend in historic Bayonne is the perfect place! A well-maintained and clean establishment with a friendly and professional staff. The food is excellent, the breakfast is varied and not "European"—it's full of regional products—and the coffee is good! Treat yourself and go! A beautiful city with a rich history and plenty of lovely streets to explore. For chocolate lovers, it's a haven for cocoa lovers! Park your car; everything is within walking distance of the hotel!
