Friendly welcome and service, excellent pizzas, and the lamb shank confit was cooked to perfection. Pleasant terraces right in the heart of Castellane. Perfect!

The atmosphere there is wonderfully relaxed and informal. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. We'll be back on the terrace at the end of August 2026. Even the dogs were welcome there 👍👍

I ate there last Saturday: a super warm and friendly welcome. They gave us helpful advice with our order. The service was attentive to our needs. The setting was pleasant: a nice screen and pleasant background music.
The meal was fantastic: the duck breast was delicious, as was the ribeye steak, and the side sauces were perfect 👍. The side dishes were well-balanced.
The crepes were generous. In short, the value for money was excellent in a pleasant setting.
You guys are the best! 👌 We had a great time during our motorcycle ride 🏍️ A big thank you! 🙏

Excellent experience at this restaurant.
The food is very good, with truly reasonable prices, which is becoming rare these days.
The staff is very friendly, professional, and efficient. Despite the late hour, we were welcomed without hesitation, with a smile and excellent advice. We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return.

On Monday, November 10th, most restaurants were closed. Only five were open. After glancing at the menus posted outside, we weren't particularly excited by what was on offer, except for La Taverne, but after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, we were a bit hesitant. Oh well, we went anyway.
What a pleasant surprise! Two enormous pizzas, generously topped and high quality. Fresh mushrooms, excellent ham, a very good crust—in short, nothing to complain about. The service was very good, and the staff were friendly.

We were in Castellane at the end of September when we were surprised by heavy rain. We wanted to grab a warm meal, but it was siesta time. Nevertheless, the staff at La Taverne offered to make us a pizza for a few people, so we took advantage of the opportunity. The pizza was good, the dough well-baked and crispy. The service was attentive. There's a wide selection of drinks, including some interesting beers.
