I highly recommend this restaurant. For the second time, we had a wonderful evening, the food was delicious, and the staff were so kind, pleasant, and the service was very quick. We will definitely be back often! A restaurant that deserves to be better known.

La Taverne is a restaurant we hold dear. Every time we're in La Grande-Motte, we happily return. The staff, like the owner, are always very pleasant, welcoming, and smiling.
The dishes are a real treat. Tonight, I chose the 400g duck breast: a truly enormous dish, perfectly cooked and absolutely succulent!
The only small detail I would have appreciated is a side of dauphinoise potatoes instead of the usual fries, but that doesn't detract from the quality of the meal.
Each time we visit, we leave completely won over. An excellent place that I recommend without hesitation!

The staff are fantastic: their kindness warms the heart, and their genuine care is all too rare!
And the food is pure bliss! Sea bream, gratinated mussels, mussels marinière... Everything is delicious and perfectly prepared.
Ideally located, you can quickly find shade in the evening, and the temperature is very pleasant for a seaside spot. We come back every year!
And this year again (2026), we'll be back with the same pleasure and the same quality of food, along with the staff's smiles!

A place to remember!
The staff were pleasant, smiling, attentive, and very helpful for a seaside restaurant (a welcome change from some others 😅). The dishes were generous, varied, and well-prepared.
All this with the beach nearby.
(We were so satisfied with our meal for four people two times in the same week: Thank you 🙏🏻)

Sunday, a nice little restaurant with my son. We received a very warm welcome at the tavern. The waiters and waitresses were very responsive, professional, smiling, and always very pleasant. Then the food: a real treat! Fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, wonderfully seasoned, and cooked to perfection. A truly delightful surprise for this little restaurant. And finally, the setting: right on the seafront, a breathtaking and magnificent view. I wholeheartedly recommend the tavern for everything!
