I have to admit that overall it's still expensive. There's no choice of dishes on the lunch menu, so if you don't like what you're eating, you have to order à la carte. The prices are high overall, and the same goes for the drinks. For a lunch break, it's not a restaurant I would recommend. However, if you're looking for a good sauerkraut, it's a safe bet.

For an evening drink in Roanne, this is perfect! The waiter and waitress were very pleasant, and they even offered us a pretzel! Open until midnight on a Thursday, which is great! 👍

Fantastic experience at La Taverne Alsacienne! I ate there with my mother on the terrace on a beautiful sunny day, and it was truly a delightful moment. The waiter, Anthony (and his colleague, whose name I don't know), were excellent: very friendly, full of humor, always with a little joke, which made the service even more welcoming. They're exactly the kind of people who contribute to making the meal even better. The food is excellent: beautifully prepared, fresh dishes; you can tell they're homemade and made with care. The value for money is truly excellent. Plus, the location is super convenient with a parking lot right across the street for easy parking. A wonderful place that I highly recommend!

A first for me. I ate very well, the portions were generous, I couldn't finish. What I appreciated was being seated comfortably in a comfortable chair.

28/03/2026: Great bar! But the music was too loud.
25/02/2026: We've been to the terrace several times this summer for a beer and a burger. The staff is always warmly welcomed and very friendly. They have a great selection of beers 🍻, and the burgers are varied and delicious. We also visited on a Saturday evening in February, and the atmosphere was just as welcoming. I recommend the roasted Camembert; it's excellent value for money, and the service is always excellent.

11/04/2026: Very good, but I think the interior could be more modern and the wait was a bit too long. But otherwise, good.
24/03/2026: Discovered by chance while walking down the street, this excellent crêperie offers a warm welcome. The "Spanish" crêpe was very good, and I highly recommend the pear purse with caramel sauce. Give it a try!
