Thank you for the warm welcome. The service was impeccable. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful. The sauerkraut was very good. Just one thing: the potato wasn't cooked. That's a shame. Thank you to the waitress for taking my reservation. I highly recommend the Alsatian tavern. Thank you.

Pleasant shaded terrace, but it's a shame the waiter's friendliness was nowhere to be seen. The welcome was incredibly cold, his tone authoritarian, and a smile that was clearly optional or left at the door?
At €4.50 for a large coffee with cream and €5.20 for a 25cl beer called "La Tête Blanche," one would at least expect pleasant service, especially when you also have to enjoy the exhaust fumes and traffic noise of the city center... We usually leave a 10-20% tip, but this time, 5 cents—I think that says it all!
It's a shame, because the place could be really nice. We'll think twice before going back... Truly deplorable service 🙄

I've been there several times for a drink or a coffee, but this was my first time eating. The starters were acceptable; it's not complicated to serve a piece of foie gras or a salad. But the main courses were a huge disappointment. The prawns were difficult to peel because they weren't cooked properly, the pork ribs were tasteless and undercooked. And there wasn't even a "medium" or "rare" option for the pork. Salt and pepper should normally be on the table. The fries were awful. The service was adequate, the waiter was very friendly, but that's not enough.
